NRE's newest EXE, NMCS18, was just released two weeks at version 0.9. It came with plenty of speedway setups, include Atlanta, Darlington, and Michigan. The EXE requires a steering wheel and is not ideal for the novice player, so assists are recommended. The EXE is based on the 2018 NASCAR cup car, featuring a 825 horsepower engine and 1600 pounds of downforce. Also, the rules are based in the year 2018 on 2003 tech. Here's a couple things to note: - While it is at version 0.9, there will be an update which makes the feel more realistic. - NR2003 Replay Analyzer is used to measure the engine power. NMCS18 has at least 85% accuracy - Downforce and aero is correct - EXE gets better everyday - More versions Data - Engine, Aero, and TiresNow, horsepower in the replay analyzer is rear wheel horsepower, so it will be lower than the actual horsepower. The cup car produces about 825 horsepower in 2018, which is 670 horsepower at the rear wheels. With the 825 horsepower, the car reached up to 208 MPH at 87 degree weather on a clear day, 210 MPH at 70 degree weather on a clear day. This is also the same speeds they ran at Michigan.
Now looking at the temperatures, the tires have been changed, so that in the beginning of the run, the car is loose until a few laps where it gains grip. It is just how the 2018 cup cars handle and why the drivers wreck so much in the opening laps at Texas.
